Pentair Pentek 158008 Slim Line Filter Housing, 10-Inch Clear #10 Under Sink Water Filter

Pentair Pentek Slim Line Filter Housings are available in lengths of 5", 10", and 20", with the option of either reinforced polypropylene or clear Styrene-Acrylonitrile (SAN) construction. The black or blue reinforced polypropylene housing caps feature 1/4", 3/8", or 1/2" NPT connections, and four bosses are molded into every cap for mounting purposes. These housings are equipped with a black, reinforced polypropylene cap and offer an optional pressure-relief button on the inlet side to relieve pressure inside the housing when changing filter cartridges.

The opaque Slim Line Filter Housings, molded from rugged reinforced polypropylene, offer outstanding chemical compatibility and are ideal for use in a variety of low-flow applications, including undersink and countertop residential filtration, pre- and post-reverse osmosis filtration, recreational vehicle filtration, foodservice, and humidifying systems. The clear Slim Line Filter Housings, on the other hand, offer on-site examination of flow, performance, and cartridge life, making them suitable for a variety of applications.

The SLIM DESIGN of these filter housings reduces the space required for installation without sacrificing capacity, as they are able to accommodate all 10" x 2.5" standard replacement filter cartridges. The CLEAR SUMP HOUSING on the clear models allows for on-site examination of flow, cartridge life, and performance. Additionally, the FOUR BOSSES MOLDED INTO THE CAP provide mounting options, and the LEAK PROOF SEAL ensures optimal performance.
