The Pentek GAC-20BB water filter is designed to reduce chlorine taste and odor in your drinking water. The filter cartridge features a 20-micron postfilter that effectively removes carbon fines from the drinking water, resulting in healthier, better-tasting water. This filter is capable of reducing both bad taste and odor, as well as chlorine taste and odor.

The Pentek GAC-20BB water filters are engineered to maximize contact between the water and the carbon, ensuring optimal adsorption. These filters provide reliable, general-purpose drinking water filtration.

In terms of compatibility and functionality, the Pentek GAC-20BB water filter is equivalent to the Everpure EV910842, Everpure DEV910842, Everpure 9108-42, Everpure CGT-204, Bunn C-30, Selecto 101-300, and ShurFlo 15-053-02 water filters. However, it is not recommended for whole-house applications, as the carbon media may cause a drop in water pressure. For whole-house filtration, the RFC-20BB filter would be a more suitable choice.

The Pentek GAC-20BB filter cartridge design allows water to enter at one end, pass through the entire length of the carbon bed, and exit the other end. An internal expansion pad minimizes the risk of channeling or bypass. Before the water exits the cartridge, the 20-micron postfilter helps reduce carbon fines and other suspended particles, ensuring high-quality filtered water.
