Pentair Pentek 3G Slim Line Filter Housing, 3/8 NPT #10 Under Sink Opaque Water Filter Housing

The Pentek 158642 3/8 #10 3G Slim Line blue filter housing with an integrated mounting bracket is suitable for low flow rate applications that have space restrictions. The sump and cap are constructed from reinforced polypropylene, providing strength and resistance to chemicals. The cap features 3/8" female National Pipe Thread Taper (NPT) threaded input and output connections, along with a nitrile butadiene rubber (Buna-N) O-ring to ensure a watertight seal.

A pressure relief button on the inlet side of the cap allows for the release of pressure in the housing, facilitating the changing of filter cartridges. This filter housing can be used with a 10" x 2-1/2" sediment or carbon filter cartridge (sold separately). It has an initial pressure drop of 2 pounds per square inch (psi) at a flow rate of 5 gallons per minute (gpm), a maximum operating pressure of 125 psi, and a maximum operating temperature of 125 degrees Fahrenheit (51.7 degrees Celsius).
